2022 BIG EARS FESTIVAL COVID-19 POLICY
COVID POLICY UPDATE: In order to comply with new legislation passed by the Tennessee State Legislature, we will now be allowing the option – in lieu of proof of vaccination – of having attendees show proof of a negative PCR test for COVID received within 48 hours of picking up your wristband at the Jackson Ave Terminal. Proof of negative test must be accompanied by valid photo ID.
The health and safety of everyone who attends Big Ears is our number one priority. With the rise of COVID cases due to the Delta variant, we’re requiring that all attendees be fully vaccinated with a vaccine authorized in the US or recognized by the WHO or show proof of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 within 48 hours of pickup up wristbands in order to participate in ticketed activities presented by Big Ears.
All patrons and guests will be required to provide proof of vaccination or show proof of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 within the preceding 48 hours (physical or photo) along with photo ID prior to receiving their festival wristband. Wristbands will only be picked up via will call at the festival’s box office located at the Jackson Avenue Terminal (213 W. Jackson Ave., Knoxville, TN 37902). As we continue to observe the situation, we reserve the right to institute other COVID-related safety measures in advance of the festival.
To be considered fully vaccinated for attendance at the 2022 Big Ears Festival, you must have received your second dose in a 2-dose series or a single-dose vaccine on or before Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
