Distress Signals is the latest project from musician and electronic explorer Harvey Leisure. For the last several years he has served as guitarist and vocalist for the powerful kraut/punk trio Nest Egg.
With Distress Signals, Leisure refocuses his energies to his love of synthesizers and drone boxes propelled by hypnotic repetition. Working alone or with collaborators, he presents his electronic compositions as a base for interwoven improvisations to make each performance unique.
