Green Ribbon is the new atmospheric duo of New Orleans-based saxophonist Mary Scott and experimental percussionist Will Hicks of Baltimore.
The collaboration is a departure from Hicks’ aggressive A/V drumming as B|_ank and Scott’s multi-tonal harsh noise project known as Dolce. Together as GREEN RIBBON, Hicks and Scott delicately build space and resonance between verdant melodic lines on saxophone, piano, and electronics.
