Big Ears 2027: The Lineup Is Here
The dazzling, boundary-defying Big Ears returns April 1-4, 2027 for its 14th edition

Our 2027 lineup is here. Big Ears returns to downtown Knoxville April 1-4, 2027, for our 14th iteration, gathering many of the world’s leading musical voices across two dozen historic theaters, churches, rock clubs, museums, and other venues. This year we welcome Jeff Tweedy, Robert Glasper, Natalie Merchant, Nathaniel Rateliff, Norah Jones, Brad Mehldau, Weyes Blood, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Courtney Barnett, Thundercat, Sylvan Esso, Mavis Staples, and hundreds more — classical virtuosos, jazz legends, singer/songwriters, electronic pioneers, international artists, and sonic explorers from around the world.
We’ll bring together over 250 concerts and performances – plus films, artist conversations, exhibitions, and interactive experiences — across the walkable footprint of Knoxville’s historic downtown. From multi-concert residencies and reserved-seat, separately ticketed concerts to first-time collaborations and one-of-a-kind premieres, there’s a lot to dig into, and we can’t wait for you to explore it. You’ll find the full lineup below.
Passes go on sale to the public Wednesday, September 16 at 9a ET at BigEarsFestival.org, following an early pre-sale for our festival donors and previous pass purchasers (see schedule below). Whether you’re joining us for all four days or planning a single evening, now’s the time to make your plans — we hope to see you there! Get Your Passes.
