CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF BIG EARS!
Still riding the wave of energy and inspiration from Big Ears’ triumphant return this past spring, today we share our plans for March 30 thru April 2, 2023, when we celebrate TEN YEARS OF BIG EARS.
Music is the heart and soul of the creative spirit, a vital and essential force of endless invention and re-invention, permutation and transformation. It is a rich and boundless path of discovery, experience, and realization. Our simple goal at Big Ears is create an ecstatic celebration of that spirit of artistic adventure.
As always, Big Ears is a continually evolving and unfolding proposition. We already have an extraordinary weekend planned, and the conversations continue: Special programs are being discussed, additional artists will join the lineup and, in the coming weeks, we’ll be announcing films, literary programs, talks & discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and more. Plus, there’s already a schedule of secret shows and surprise pop-up performances that will blow your mind.
We invite you to follow along as the full scope of our tenth Big Ears celebration continues to reveal itself. In the meantime, we hope you’ll make plans to join us in Knoxville next spring. In appreciation of our remarkable donors and supporters who have made Big Ears possible, we’re offering special pre-sales over the next two days. If you are a donor or previous festivalgoer, you should have received an email offering details and a special code. If you are new to the Big Ears experience, tickets officially go on sale this Wednesday, September 14, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
