Carl Stone announces new album
On March 1, the awesome Unseen Worlds will release Baroo, the new album by Carl Stone. This new material follows two monumental compilations of Carl’s archival cuts, which reasserted his reputation as someone at the vanguard of music technology, plundering new means to make enormous symphonies and collages using samples. On “Okajouki,” the first cut from Baroo, he pushes and pulls at vocal lines and rhythms that seem to dance to their own sense of rhythm, creating a surreal pop wonder.
