CLASSICAL CLASSROOM, EPISODE 189: ONCE MORE WITH HEALING FEAT. BROOKLYN RIDER
At Big Ears 2019, boundary-breaking string quartet Brooklyn Rider will perform a new concert called “Healing Modes.” Inspired by Beethoven’s 15th string quartet, particularly its third movement, Brooklyn Rider commissioned five new pieces to accompany the quartet, including work by Matana Roberts and Roomful of Teeth’s Caroline Shaw.
