DakhaBrakha Brings Ethno-chaos to Big Ears

DakhaBrakha may be from the Ukraine, but don’t call them traditional Ukrainian folk musicians. The mind-blowing quartet out of Kyiv describe their music as “ethno-chaos” — a fitting label for the artists who disseminate their homeland’s culture while learning from every new encounter and performance. Their riveting Bonnaroo performance in 2014 was cited by Rolling Stone as one of the festival highlights that year, and we suspect that DakhaBrakha’s performance at The Standard on Thursday evening will blow you away.
