FlySiifu is the new collaborative project from two prolific rappers with infectious chemistry, MC Pink Siifu and Fly Anakin. Virginia’s Fly Anakin, who is described by Madlib as “one of the illest MCs,” has previously collaborated with Freddie Gibbs and is the co-founder of the Richmond rap collective Mutant Academy. The duo’s other half, Pink Siifu, is an MC, singer, and producer, originally from Alabama, whose diverse output ranges from soulful rap to punk. He’s collaborated with The Avalanches, Mndsgn, Teebs, Quelle Chris, Anna Wise, and Maxo. Their debut album, FlySiifu’s, released in 2020 on Lex Records, mirrors their musical community, as they welcome guests into Fly Siifu’s record store.
