Laughter: The Best Medicine Playshop

“A playfully relaxing and invigorating PLAYSHOP exploration of the medically-documented properties of heavy laughter.  This time together will be spent experiencing our laughter as both a health therapy and a way to reduce overall stress. There will be lots of interactive fun consisting of a call-and-response chant opening, extended laughter‘cizes,  musically assisted deep relaxation, and invigorating playful movement. Heavy laughter as a cathartic release will be engaged in as a way to enter deeper states of relaxation and reconnect to our own Beautiful Inner Child.  The guided laughter’cizes, gentle live sound/music, deep guided relaxation, and “serious” fun, are just a few guarantees in this lively experiential event.”

LARAAJI ( Sw. Laraaji NadaBrahmananda) is a world-class musician, recording artist, and committed funny bone visionary who travels the planet bringing his gifts of Celestial Music and Healing Laughter programs since 1978.  Hailed as one of the forefathers of both ambient electronic and new age music, Laraaji is best known for his 1980 collaboration with Brian Eno, “Ambient 3: Day of Radiance.”

Arji OceAnanda ( Arji Cakouros) is a sound healer, musician, Shakti Reiki master, DreamWork teacher, and loving presence.  She is committed to assisting each person achieve radiant health and deep bliss. Rooted in a deep spiritual connection to sound, she blends the various modalities of her work into a sonic tapestry that supports listeners in exploring their own inner realms both for uplifting enjoyment as well as to offer opportunities for deep relaxation and healing.
