VariegOrchestra

VariegOrchestra expands the established language of Variego3—into a larger ensemble rooted in Knoxville and rioplatense musical traditions. Built entirely around Variego’s original compositions, the project brings together tango, milonga, murga, jazz, contemporary chamber music, and open improvisation, moving between composed structures and collective invention. 

Described as “defying categorization” and marked by “unique tones and forward-thinking arrangements,” Variego’s music is at the heart of VariegOrchestra, a dream project that expands Variego3’s distinctive synthesis of Argentine musical traditions, experimentation, and improvisation into a larger, more expansive sonic landscape.
