LISTEN: Mary Lattimore Releases New Song From Album to Come in March

Mary Lattimore—the North Carolina-born, California-based harpist who just joined the Big Ears lineup—has another new record due. After last year’s mesmerizing solo feat, Hundreds of Days, and her collaboration with Meg Baird, she will release a full-length collaboration with Mac McCaughan, of Superchunk/Portastatic/Merge Records fame. Her harp and his synthesizers lace around one another in a world that feels beautiful but dangerous, daring you to take risk in search of reward. New Rain Duets is due March 22 on Three Lobed. Listen to “III” now.
