Last year, Knoxville native Yves Tumor quietly launched an intriguing new imprint, the label Grooming. Over the summer, Grooming issued Kill, a haunting three-track meditation by British producer John Bence that sold out in a flash for good reason. Choral incantations hang eerily above drone murmurs, while percussion and grunts flash through the mix like scare tactics.
