Mercury Rev Collaborates with Margo Price and More for Bobbie Gentry Commemoration
Nearly 40 years have passed since country explorer Bobbie Gentry released her last album, but her influence only seems to be growing. Next February, Mercury Rev will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Gentry’s daring second album, a concept LP about struggling in the South, The Delta Sweete, with a full-length, star-studded cover.
