BE 2026

Music at KMA

For a Friday afternoon treat, UT Electroacoustic Ensemble will deliver a show of chamber improvised music that incorporates electronics alongside acoustic instruments. Accordion prodigy Frode Haltli will perform two nights of his latest work The Border Woods, an entirely new kind of world music featuring percussion and Swedish nyckelharpa. Nief-Norf will dazzle viewers with two performances at the KMA: Saturday evening will feature a performance of iconoclastic American composer Michael Pisaro‘s enchanting A Wave and Waves, featuring Greg Stuart (plus 100 fellow musicians), and Sunday afternoon, Stuart will be joined by Andrew Bliss in Pisaro’s Closed Categories in Cartesian Worlds.
