Preview John Mueller’s Double Album, dHrAaNwDn

The drummer Jon Mueller is interested in moments when music feels primal but spiritual, overrunning your body and mind. In 2016, Mueller arranged four drums in the massive, echoing room of the Shaker Meeting House of Albany, New York, playing for six hours and editing it into a teeming, thrumming world of sound. The result, the double album dHrAaNwDn, isn’t available online, but you can hear a commanding preview with this fascinating video.
