The New York Times Calls Big Ears “a point of pilgrimage”

Well, that’s flattering: Late last week, The New York Times called Big Ears 2019 one of this spring’s premier cultural events, lauding the range of our programming and highlighting our ECM @ 50 celebration. Giovanni Russonello calls it “a point of pilgrimage for all sorts of experimental listeners,” and we’re particularly chuffed by this line, a festival programmer’s dream: “All are within walking distance of each other, but each is comfortable and acoustically sound enough that you’ll forget what you’re missing a few doors down.”
