Watch: A Glimpse Behind Peter Gregson’s ‘Bach Recomposed’
Peter Gregson’s modern interpretation of Bach’s Cello Suites still has us captivated, with its addition of synthesizers and a cello ensemble. In this brief new video for Classic FM, he plays a bit of the record and explains the rationale behind it. “The world I am trying to create with this record is one in which… they might hear something different, a new angle, a new path through familiar territory,” he explains. We’re so excited to present this project at Big Ears 2019.
