Watch: Coupler’s “Invention 1: Dreams of Strange Continents”
When they visit Knoxville for Big Ears 2019, Coupler will play two sets: They will perform a live score to the cult classic Dragnet Girl, and they will offer a gig of their own, too. But we don’t expect that set to be without visual stimulation, especially after watching this lysergic video for their “Invention 1: Dreams of Strange Continents.” We get a little giddy every time we see the band rise through the kaleidoscopic web just before the two-minute mark.
