Maya Beiser: Exploring the Imperfection of Human Expression

Cello goddess Maya Beiser explains the powerful imperfection of human expression when re-working classic rock hits here in the fourth installment of our five-part video series recorded during Big Ears 2017. The Boston Globe declares, “With virtuoso chops, rock-star charisma, and an appetite for pushing her instrument to the edge of avant-garde adventurousness, Maya Beiser is the post-modern diva of the cello.” In addition to her Morning Trance concert at The Mill & Mine, Maya’s performance of Uncovered with bassist Gyan Riley and Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche was a stunning sight to behold.
