2024 FESTIVAL PASS INFO
Artists and programming for Big Ears 2024 will be announced on Tuesday, September 12.
As always, there will be special pre-sales for our donors and previous Big Ears Festival pass purchasers, with festival passes officially going on sale Thursday, September 14, at 9 a.m. ET.
OPTIONS TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL
Weekend Passes
There are three types of weekend passes available to purchase: General Admission, Premier, and Sonic Explorer VIP. All three offer access to 150+ publicly announced concerts, films, conversations, and exhibitions during the festival weekend (subject to capacity and with the exception of separately ticketed events noted below). Premier and Sonic Explorer VIP include additional benefits to enhance the festival experience.
Single-Day Passes
Big Ears also offers a limited number of Single-Day Passes for each day of the festival. These will be made available when the line-ups for each day are announced, usually in November or December. This will be announced in our newsletter, on our website, and on social media at least one week prior to availability.
Volunteer
The Big Ears Volunteer Program offers some the opportunity to assist the festival staff in return for a festival pass. Volunteer registration will open in early 2024.
The Big Ears Scholarship Program
Thanks to our generous donors, Big Ears is able to provide two-dozen emerging and professional artists admission to the 2024 festival at no cost. Applications will open on Thursday, September 14, at 9 a.m. ET and close 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 19. Recipients will be notified in January.
SEPARATELY TICKETED EVENTS
Among the many special performances planned for 2024, Big Ears will include two singular and exceptional programs, one of which will be presented twice and the other multiple times daily through the weekend. Due to the very unique and intimate nature of these events, these programs will be separately ticketed to ensure the artistic integrity of the experience. Tickets for these presentations will be released when the festival schedule is announced and will be available only to festival passholders.
PRE-SALE
Passes will be made available to the general public starting at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 14. Ahead of the general on-sale, we will be offering two special pre-sales for our donors and previous pass purchasers:
Tuesday, September 12 at 9 a.m. ET: Early access for Big Ears supporters who have given at the Voyager level or above ($100+) between September 13, 2022 and September 10, 2023
Wednesday, September 13 at 9 a.m. ET: Early access for past Big Ears Festival pass purchasers
Purchase codes will be delivered to qualifying participants via email prior to each pre-sale. Please note that the pre-sale code for previous purchasers will only be delivered to the email address associated with the purchaser and their Front Gate Ticketing account and not everyone included in a party.
DONOR PRE-SALE: DON’T MISS OUT!
Big Ears supporters who have given at the Voyager Level or above ($100+) since September 13, 2022 will have the opportunity to purchase passes as soon as the lineup is announced on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 9 a.m. ET.
