Just Added: Bruce Greene & Loy McWhirter

Bruce Greene and Loy McWhirter perform traditional songs, ballads, fiddle tunes, and banjo tunes from the southern Appalachians. Bruce plays the fiddle with an older solo-style tradition, complete with a rich history that brings his songs to life, while Loy accompanies with fiddlesticks — another old southern mountain tradition. The two have performed together for almost forty years, as can be heard in their close harmonies and sense of communion. Witness their intimate live performance Saturday, March 24 at the Jig & Reel.
