A SPACE TO DREAM

Big Ears Festival is proud to partner with Age of Reflections for an immersive residency that transforms light, sound, and space into a living, breathing experience. Founded by Bob Maynard and Brandon Shotwell, Reflections is a curatorial platform that invites audiences to connect with the sublime through the alchemy of music, cinematic visuals, and sacred architecture.

For their residency at Big Ears, Reflections will activate Church Street United Methodist with site-specific lighting that grows in intensity throughout the day. At sunset the visuals will deepen into the mystical, illuminating the headliners with a projection-mapped light show performed with Reflections’ visionary lead designer Eric Epstein.

Dubbed a “Nobel-worthy project” by The Stranger’s Dave Segal, Reflections brings a depth of artistry to every performance. Whether you’re basking in the shifting patterns of light during the day or losing yourself in the cinematic glow of sunset, Reflections offers a space to dream, reflect, and discover. This is more than a residency — it’s a portal to a world where sound and light become sacred.
