We’re thrilled to welcome New Orleans bandleader, saxophonist, clarinetist, and singer Aurora Nealand to Big Ears for the first time. She’s the hinge of a very special new band called Absînt, which makes its world premiere at Big Ears 2019. Nealand joins David Torn, Bill Frisell, and Tim Berne for the set.
