Big Ears 2019 Performers Rank in NPR’s 50 Best Albums of the Year
Four performers from Big Ears 2019—and lots of festival veterans—rank in NPR’s wonderful list of the 50 best albums of the year, one of the broader surveys we’ve seen so far. Ambrose Akinmusire, who joins Mary Halvorson here, lands at No. 38, while Makaya McCraven is at No. 30 and serpentwithfeet at No. 24.
