Big Ears for Little Ears!

Big Ears for Little Ears!  Wow, do we ever have a special treat to announce. Wadada Leo Smith—one of the great jazz trumpeters ever and a conceptual artist and composer with few equals—will perform a third set at Big Ears 2019, in addition to his solo Monk tribute and his full performance of the masterpiece Divine Love. On Saturday, at 10 a.m. in the Visit Knoxville Visitor Center, he will play our annual Big Ears for Little Ears kids program, joined by Bobby Naughton. It’s free, with no tickets required. But remember, big kids, leave some room for the little kids down front. Sean McCollough hosts this incredible surprise addition.
