Ches Smith: A Force of Nature
At Big Ears 2019, Ches Smith—one of the most exciting drummers working in the modern free jazz orbit—will join Tim Berne and David Torn in Sun of Goldfinger. But you may have seen Smith in lots of other bands, from various Marc Ribot and Mary Halvorson projects to Trevor Dunn’s groups and even Mr. Bungle itself.
