Fugazi Bandmates, Joe Lally and Ian MacKaye Reunite with New Band
Whoa, Joe Lally of the Messthetics—and, forever, of Fugazi—has a new band with his Fugazi bandmate Ian MacKaye and Ian’s bandmate in the great Evens, Amy Farina. We don’t know their name yet, but they’re playing their first show Sunday in Washington, D.C., as a benefit for an organization that feeds people in the area. We’re excited to learn more about the band and see where it goes. In the meantime, hear Fugazi’s Joe Lally and Brendan Canty in their own trio with another guitarist, here. They’re at Big Ears 2019.
