Just Added: Nief Norf performs Steve Reich’s ‘Quartet’

Knoxville-based experimental collective Nief Norf will perform twice at Big Ears: a live score collaboration with New York-based orchestra Wordless Music to a screening of documentary Brimstone & Glory, and a newly-announced performance of Steve Reich’s piece, Quartet. Nief Norf will pay homage to the pioneering minimalist composer on Sunday, March 25 at the Tennessee Theatre, including Russ Hartenberger — an original member of Steve Reich & Musicians going back to the early ’70s.
