In September, at the debut Red Bull Music Festival Montreal, Kara-Lis Coverdale performed a new piece called “Grand Exorcism,” featuring performance artist Kara Crabb. Coverdale’s work maps its own uncanny valley, defying notions of what constitutes electronic or acoustic sound.
