Watch: Punch Brothers Perform on The Current

In Minnesota, The Current is one of the jewels of the United States’ public radio system—and it has been for decades. Last year, Chris Thile (as the host of Live from Here, someone else who knows a lot about public radio) headed into The Current’s studios to record a session with the Punch Brothers. You can hear the entire thing now, and even watch the Brothers play the gliding “Three Dots and a Dash” and the jaunty “Jumbo,” both from their Grammy-nominated All Ashore. We love the delicate harmonies and playful bass solo at the heart of “Jumbo.” See them at Big Ears 2019.
