We’re honored and humbled to host Ralph Towner at Big Ears 2019. Ralph is now in his sixth decade as a guitar master, from his early work in the Paul Winter Consort through his appearances alongside Weather Report to one of the most exceptional ECM discographies of anyone. His 2017 album, My Foolish Heart, was a stunning solo work, emotional and plaintive and vulnerable. Watch him play a solo version of its title cut, a romantic standard, in Leipzig.
