In the span of two breathless minutes, the Brooklyn Academy of Music manages to cycle through highlights from Meredith Monk’s entire astounding career—from Quarry and ATLAS to On Behalf of Nature. It was a preview for their world premiere of Cellular Songs earlier this year; Monk and her incredible Vocal Ensemble perform the work at Big Ears 2019.
