Blonde Redhead with ACME: Misery Is A Butterfly

Alt-rock trio Blonde Redhead — whose sound has steadily evolved, from energetic art punk to lush chamber pop to electronic-leaning and beyond — have recently returned to the stage with their dreamy, hypnotic 2004 classic, Misery Is A Butterfly, collaborating with chamber group ACME (American Contemporary Music Ensemble) in the live performances. Their two sold out performances in early January at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC garnered rave reviews and have us counting down the days until their Thursday evening performance with ACME at Big Ears.
