Watch: Avey Tare’s “Ms. Secret” Video

Have you heard Eucalyptus, the sprawling solo album released last year by Avey Tare, the only member of Animal Collective on every album? It’s a kaleidoscope of mood and tones, sometimes wistful and beautiful, sometimes damaged and demented. “Ms. Secret” epitomizes that prior feeling, with its sweetened nostalgia underscored by pedal steel sweeps and warped flute samples that seem to dart in and out of the song’s cloudy space.
