BEAUTY, HEARTBREAK, HERBIE PLAYS JONIE, AND MORE

THANK YOU!

Your unprecedented response to our Tuesday announcement of daily lineups and the opening up of single-day ticket sales was energizing and inspiring, truly a record-breaker for us at Big Ears.

As a result, the single-day Premier Pass options are nearly sold out in a couple of instances, so if that’s your preference, don’t risk disappointment by waiting too long.

It’s a whirlwind around here at the moment as plans for 2024 continue to evolve and come into focus. Stay tuned as the story unfolds. Purchase passes at bigearsfestival.org.

Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker Drops New Single: “Ruined”

“Ruined” is a heartbreaking, remarkable intro to Lenker’s highly anticipated new solo album, which she has announced will be coming in 2024. It features her first move to the piano and is destined to stay with you after its final notes fade. Big Ears Festival will be your first chance of the new year to catch Adrianne as she embarks on her highly anticipated solo tour. Catch her on Thursday, March 21.

What We’re Listening to This Week: Herbie Hancock

With the holiday season in full-swing, we’ve found ourselves listening to one of our favorite Herbie Hancock records this week, the Grammy award-winning River: The Joni Letters (2007). The beautifully recorded album is a tribute to the legendary Joni Mitchell, who celebrated her 80th birthday this year. Watch Herbie perform “River”, Joni’s beloved Christmas folk tune, with Corinne Bailey Rae. We’re thrilled to have Herbie joining us next year on Saturday, March 23!
